WHAT WE TEACH
Violin
Violin has a hollow wooden body in an” hourglass" shape and its top and back are arched. It is the smallest and highest-pitched member of the violin family of string instruments, which include the viola and cello. A violin is also informally referred to as a fiddle.

A violin has four strings and is usually played using a bow consisting of a stick with a ribbon of horsehair strung between the tips.

You may join violin lessons at the performers collective as early as 7 years of age. Being a non- fretted string instrument, it may take a while to play in tune.

Learners are expected to carry an instrument of the correct quality and size to their practical lessons. Our office will help you get in touch with your teacher for recommendations in this regard

Practical classes are supplemented with dedicated lessons in theory and ear training. Reading and writing music form an essential part of your learning process.
