WHAT WE TEACH
Electric Guitar
The electric guitar has a solid wooden body. The vibrations of the strings are converted into electric impulses by pick-ups (magnetic coils) mounted on the body and transferred to a speaker/amplifier to produce sound.

Being a modern instrument, electric guitar is typically used to play contemporary styles of music such as rock, pop, jazz, metal, blues etc.

A fair degree of soreness and pain in the fingers and hands is customary in the early stages of learning. With regular practice such aches and pains will disappear in a couple of months.

Contrary to popular misconceptions one may start straight away on an electric guitar (as opposed to starting on an acoustic guitar and then moving to the electric guitar).

Learners are expected to carry an instrument (of the correct quality and size) and connecting wire to their practical lessons. Our office will help you get in touch with your teacher for recommendations in this regard. Amplifiers are available at the school for classroom use.

Learning to tune the guitar takes a while; hence we recommend that you buy a digital guitar tuner.
Group lessons (batch of 4) as well as Individual lessons are available on electric guitar.

Learners also attend music theory lessons besides being given many opportunities to play with bands and other musicians from the school.
