WHAT WE TEACH
Drums
Drum kit (or drum set) is a collection of drums and cymbals. A basic drum kit consists of Bass Drum, Toms, Floor Toms, Snare Drum, Hi-Hat Cymbals, Ride Cymbal and Crash Cymbal.

The individual instruments of a drum kit are struck by a variety of implements held in the hand, including sticks, brushes, and mallets.  The bass drum and hi hat cymbals (also played by the normal striking motion) are played by a foot-operated pedal

It is a very loud instrument; you will need to consider ways to minimize the nuisance value to neighbors and family alike when you play the drum.

A drum kit is not easy to transport or assemble. You will need a dedicated space of about 6 by 6 feet to keep your drums.

An absolute beginner may begin learning on a practice pad (a small laptop sized pad with a rubber top), costing Rs1000 appx for the first few months before investing in a full drum kit.

Performers Collective provides a sound proof class room equipped with an excellent quality instrument for the lessons. Learners will need to carry their own drum sticks. Only Individual lessons are available on this instrument.

Learners also attend music theory and ear training lessons besides being given many opportunities to play with bands and other musicians from the school.
